- Peter has gone back to EDP HQ
- the other 3 determine that some of the bodies in the room have died of exsanguation, one of them had 2 small holes in their neck
- Norton's shop that he works at avoids barcodes due to mark of the beast
- one of the bodies matched the UEA card that John picked up in the main room of the church
- The other 3 exchange numbers, Norton (antivirus) refuses any whatsapp and only allows sms messages
Peter
- arriving safely at the EDP office, peter tries to write up a news article
- but he freezes and gets a chill down his spine and struggles to write more
- Charlie, his work friend, isnt replying to his texts
- he then googles 'church of cain' in another tab to let his 'alcohol withdrawal muscle cramps' pass
- Clicks on teh website 'NewOrderOfCainsLight.co.uk.biz.squarespace.com'
- its a web 1.0 style website. Lots of tables and such, not very well made.Looks like a normal church website
- Meetings every sunday for a church sunday. Every wednesday study group. We got there midday just after the study group.
- Peter presses tab a bunch to see where the cursor goes, it eventually lands on a clickable link with a picture of a bible. He clicks it. His computer shuts down
- TUrning it back on, he looks around the office. All the typing has stoped. There is nobody there. He stands up, still nobody. He feels compelled to leave the office. He grabs his stuff and runs out the fire escape while trying to call Charlie. He drops the phone face down, its functional still but the phone has hung up the call. He rushes home, jogging the whole way. He has never felt such primal terror in a long, long time.
Norton
- Norton gets the bus (the 4 and then the 8 to bottom of southtown road, walk the rest) to B&Q
- Going in, he sees some large rodents
- Norton's Shopping list? One Garden Rake, One Standard Woodcutting Saw, One Metalworking saw (hack or coping saw) And one decent piece of wood, like a dowel (stuff you use for light gardening work.
- Buying a cheap rake, maple wood dowel (round), a ripsaw and a coping saw
- He then Returns back to Paranormal Instigators in Northgate Street to make the stake
- Texting his boss 'I went to the place but couldn’t find anyone to give the receipt to' he then looks at the piece of the 'true cross' in the shop and looks at the wood for the stake and imagines combining the two
- He attempts to fashion a stake lance. Lashing a dowel onto a rake stick, he whittles it down into a fine point.
- He then reopens the shop and reads the chronicle of cain
'The Chronicle Of Cain'
- Cain killed able out of love
- Banished out into the land of nod
- Lilith comes out and tells Cain she was Adam's first wife, and cares for cain so he is no longer wandering alone
- Cain then wishes that he had her magic that lilith has
- Lilith then cuts herself open with a knife and bleeds into a bowel and allows cain to drink her blood

John (1st year student, 'American Studies')
- He heads back to the UEA and goes to the library
- He looks for books on occultism and vampires
- goes to the parapsychology section, there are books that mention 'Analyses of folklore as it pertains to vampires' and a couple books of 'famous incidents of haemophagia'
- some books about vampires & their relationship to lgbt people
- One book details the difference of vampires throughout different cultures
- 'Dracula' in western cannon, 'Hungry Ghosts' in chineese canon (creatures that drain you of 'Qi'), and modern vampires tales like 'I am Legend' (Evolved humans) & 'Twilight' (Softening and Romantasiation) & 'Shadowrun' Vampires (Altered DNA by a virus, not dead) & 'Discworld' (Vampires can become teetotal and not need to drink blood if they find something else to be obsessed about)
