bonus xp from quiz for next sesh
- John and Peter have gone over the chronicles of caine and shadows together (more fanfic to follow)
JOHN
- Monday, wakes up at 8:45
- He gets an email 'Attendance'
- His supervisor is concerned that he has been missing more lectures, and has invited him at 11am to go to his office for achat
- john replies to the email and accepts it
- His first lecture is at 10am, and so he prepares for it and heads out
- fry up for breakfast
- Eggs, bacon, toast, mushrooms, beans, sausages, hashbrowns, tomato
- The lecture is about 'Malcom X and Civil Rights'
- John puts in a bit more than usual effort, but overall is more in uni for the experience than the learning
- Off to the supervisor meeting, doesnt know him super well since he is in his first year (he is 24yo so note that down)
- Weland is the supervisor name, he is a lecturer of folklore. Tweed formal clothes, late 30s, has glasses, well kept facial hair. Has the checkermark jumper thing
- His office is very regular, lasden wall, dusty books stacked, computer resembles babbage's difference engine (beige box etc etc).
- John Walks into the room, blanks the guy, and starts rummaging through his books
- Professor Weland starts to talk to John about his attendance
- he has some books on black shuck, and other esoterica i missed bc freyja was talking 2 quick
- He asks reasons why he hasnt attended much and john covers saying he has minor headaches
- During the conversation John notices that everything in the office has a 'blur' to it that stuff outside hte office lacks
- Focusing in on the book, the book seems to actually be an alembic?
- The computer seems to be glass display case filled with pinned butterflies
- The guy is short, relativly fat/dumpy, peasant clothes with a cape, a mohawk, big nose and ears
- outside the window is a big green grassy field, a tower made of crystals
- and then he suddenly snaps back to reality
- john asks for a pen and puts it in his bag
- Observing the pen, it is determined that it has only 1/5th the ink remaining (30-80 pages)
- john mentions in the group chat that the room felt weird like the bookshop and also he got a bic pen with 1/5th the remaining ink
- time passes and he grabs a chicken burger
- its now time for his shift (evening i assume idk) and puts on his SU uniform. He heads down to the 'hatch'
